How to Build a Table with Taormina Design Metal Legs

Do you have a marble, stoneware, or wooden top and want to turn it into a unique table? With the right metal legs, you can create a sturdy, custom table that perfectly matches your style. In this guide, we’ll walk you through each step using Taormina Design legs — compatible with different materials and ideal for both home and commercial use.

1. Choose the right metal legs for your project

Our legs are designed to support various shapes and finishes, always ensuring stability and style:

U-shape: clean and minimal, ideal for modern tables
X-shape: bold and strong, perfect for industrial interiors
Trapezoidal: refined and elegant, perfect for marble or stoneware tops
Central base: ideal for round or square tops in HPL or heavier materials

All models are made of powder-coated steel, with load capacity suitable even for heavy tops like marble or stoneware.

2. Choosing the right tabletop

Taormina Design legs are compatible with:

Solid wood, for a warm and natural look
Marble, for an elegant and luxurious touch
Porcelain stoneware, durable and modern
HPL (High Pressure Laminate), ideal for outdoor use or minimal style

Technical tip: for a 6-seater dining table, we recommend a top of at least 160x90 cm with a minimum thickness of 2.5 cm to ensure secure fastening.

3. How to install the legs

What you’ll need:

Drill, screws or suitable anchors
Measuring tape, pencil, level

Tips:

For wood, self-tapping screws are sufficient.
For marble, stoneware, or HPL, use chemical anchors or threaded inserts — possibly with the help of a professional.
